Some alarming information in today's Times-Tribune--the Scranton Sewer Authority has no record of Keystone Sanitary Landfill sending untreated leachate through a bypass through Green Ridge that Al Magnotta referred to at the DEP Public Meeting in February. If no one knows when Keystone Sanitary Landfill uses the Green Ridge bypass sewer line and there are no records, then how do they know what's flowing in it? How can the landfill not be legally obligated to inform the sewer authority if it sends any leachate through Green Ridge, one of our highly populated residential neighborhoods?
